Virgin Australia’s New Exciting Upgrade

Posted on September 18, 2017 Robert Jones
Virgin Australia Airlines was established in 1999 as Virgin Blue and today is Australia’s second-large airline. It has been operating as a low-cost carrier but it upgraded to giving the customer options : either purchase a cheap ticket and receive a “no frills” treatment, or paying extra to receive full-service. Developed by Richard Branson, the company became one of the most admired global brands since 2000.

The Boeing and Airbus family of Virgin Atlantic will have a complete new and exciting upgrade by middle of 2019 : in-flight wi-fi connectivity. The trials of Gogo’s 2Ku connectivity systems on one of 737-800s as turned out as a completely success, therefore more equipment will be shipped in October this year.
