But turbulence occurs on approximately 90% of flights, with the plane only jumping a few centimeters. Though if you’d still be more comfortable feeling less turbulence, experts suggest sitting in the middle of the cabin next to the wings to feel less turbulence as the shaking will most often be felt towards the tail of the plane.
